      Q1 :Because we wanted to use it as baffles. These baffles are used to make sure that all the fuel  is all burnt up to fire the cannonball. With the baffles inside the cannon, more oxygen is trapped inside the cannon. There is the more oxygen ,the better the combustion of the ethanol is.
  
      Q2: We shake it first to make the ethanol react better, because we shake it, it makes the concentration of the oxygen higher and the more oxygen .That better than before.
  
     Q3: The energy transformation occurred during the launch is from potential chemical and gravitational energy to kinetic energy, which includes sound, heat, and light energy.

     Q4:Besides ethanol, we can use: Air freshener, hairspray, Pesticides
  

    Q5:The Newton's  third law,  if there's action, there's a reaction. The action from the cannon ball to the cannon that makes the cannon goes backwards (if it's not stable enough) makes a reaction of the cannonball going the opposite way. And this is also the law about Rocket fly to Outer space.
